The Disability Community's vision is a city where everyone is treated fairly and equally regardless of their impairments and where each person is supported and nurtured to fulfil his or her potential.

Our mission: The Disability Community is an action based voluntary organisation striving for proper resources and support for disabled people in Glasgow. We bring people with impairments together with the resources they require, and help them grow, learn and develop so that they can achieve their goals. We mobilise the local community around the issue of disability and provide expertise and resources so that disabled people can secure their rights. We speak up for change at local and national level.
